Look for raptors, seabirds and shorebirds around Cape May Point State Park.

Cape May Bird Observatory naturalists lead a two-hour walk around Cape May Point State Park, where hawk migration, trails and beach habitats can produce raptors, seabirds, shorebirds and songbirds. Pre-registration is required. Cost noted by the source: $8 members and $12 nonmembers.

Explore the park's varied habitats with CMBO naturalists, watching for raptors overhead and birds using the trails and shoreline. The walk may cover up to 1.5 miles, with sandy or muddy areas possible. Dress for coastal wind and the forecast, and bring rain gear. Reserve your place through NJ Audubon's event page before attending.
